Herds of Architecture III

Automation of Axonometric Drawings without 3D Models

Georgia Institute of Technology
2022
This project ‘Herds of Architecture III’ is aiming to resolving a challenge: Is it possible to automate an axometric drawings directly from a 2D plan in Shape Machine? Note that the process should be completely in 2D environment. The objective of this project is to revisit an important mechnical drawing technic, axonometric drawing, where the drawing process is implemented in a sequence of visual instructions. In theory, the process can be automatically excuated in shape rules. As a note, the project is still on going, and the final results are forthcoming and will be updated in March 2022 (expected).
