This project is to study and implement a work designed by BIG in north Europe, TWIST. Students break down the building into three major systems, massing, facade, and space frame structure and implement all the systems in Grasshopper. The parametric model allows students to test the boundary of this design by generating many variations. Furthermore, a physical model is fabricated with 3D printer and the fabircation process led to a discussion on how 3D-printing is used to simulate the construction of wooden structure which is assembled with members.
