Design Build 2024 Spring is a collaboration between the School of Architecture and the School of Music at the University of Kansas. This project is aiming to create outdoor seating spaces in the courtyard of Murphy Hall for the people in the School of Music. It is designed and fabricated by three junior students with the concept of sound wave. This bench provides two ways of sitting for individuals and groups moving a simple sitting profile along with an S path. Only one kind of material is used in this project which is 2X10 treated wood board for durability.
