This series of works are aiming to
explore the relationships between gravity and the geometries, and the works can
be seen in the series ‘Self-standing Sculptures”. In this series of works, all
the sculptures can stand alone without additional supports, because the center
of the weight is calculated and controlled in a certain range so that the
sculptures can stand by themselves. The materials used here includes plaster,
paper and concrete in order to test different media, and the limitations of
each fabrication process.
