This project is aiming to develop a computer application that can generate a trail with a given path and a terrain. The first half of the project Trail Maker is to developa main feature that maps the given path onto the terrain with gradient, then discretizes the trail into segments, and then visualizes the slopes in different colors on the segments. As the second half of this project, the colored tail is developed with more tectonics, that is, with pieces of wood panels, furthermore, when the trail is steep, the system will generate a walkable stairs. For the last phase, more details are implemented such as the handrails, structure, special panel for the turns of the trail and so forth.
